In next few days its going to be 1 month that I have been in Tanzania to conduct The Art Of Living Courses here. Dar e Salaam is the place where I m staying in . It is the financial hub of TZ {Tanzania}. The place is situated just next to the Indian Ocean so Shipping is one of the biggest industry here, as TZ provides all the materials imported to its neighboring countries like Kenya,Malawi,Zanzibar Uganda etc.
Its very beautiful here but people here because of lack of education don't know how to turn it into a Industry.
The countries economy is ruled by Gujrati's who have migrated here before independence.

Everything 3 times more than in India. But the Fruits & vegetables are blessing. One will only get organic stuff here as chemicals & fertilizers are very expensive .
Its really a very good experience coming out of INDIA,getting to know so much about the world, different people, different religions/beliefs/ideologies.
Its Fun, Learning & Sewa all together.

You see from any angle, there is a totality, a uniqueness, in Krishna’s personality. This indicates that your innermost has these qualities just like a ray of sun which has all colours. <br /> <br />Once Queen Kunti, mother of the Pandavas, told Krishna, “I wish I had more troubles. You were always with me when I had troubles. Nothing can equal the joy of your company. I can trade all the pleasures of the world for a moment of your Presence.” <br /> <br /> Krishna gave her more knowledge of the Being: “I am in you as you. There is not a place in this world where I am not. People think of me as a physical body and they do not really know my nature. Body is made up of these eight aspects: earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intellect and ego. I am the ninth – beyond all this. I am allpervading. Though I am in the body, I am not the body. Though I am working through the mind, I am not the mind. I am much more than what you perceive. I am present in your heart as you and anytime you need me, I am there. You can always count on me”. <br /> <br />Saints fell in love with Krishna. The dispassionate would be drawn to him. Krishna means that which is attractive. The very core of your Being is such, the bliss and joy of the Self is like that. It just draws everything. The symbolism in Krishna's birth is beautiful. Devaki as the body and Vasudev as prana or breath came together to bring forth Krishna. <br /> Krishna is always depicted as the Blue God. It means that the body is so transparent, almost as if it was not there. Whatever is infinity is represented by blue. The sky is blue, and so is the ocean. Krishna says in the Gita: “People do not know my true nature. Nobody knows.” In all his life only three people knew his true form – Yashoda, Arjuna and his childhood friend Uddhava. Krishna says: “People think of me as a physical embodiment, as a body. I am not the body; I am the Consciousness which is present in everything, everywhere… I am the sweetness in sugar, the light in the moon, the heat in the sun.” He expresses himself as ‘all-permeating’. <br /> <br />Krishna always stands with one foot firmly on the ground, the other foot crossed over, as though it is touching, but not really touching. It is elsewhere. That is called the ‘tribhangy’ pose, implying perfect balance. Krishna was makhan chor, stealer of butter. Butter is from milk. Milk is fermented to get curd and the curd is churned to get butter. Life is a process of churning. Your mind is being churned by so many things, events, happenings and instances. <br /> <br />Finally, what comes up is butter which is the saintliness in you. And Krishna steals the butter, the saintliness. It means he loves this mind which is like butter, which is not hard. This means infinity is coming towards you, loves you so much that it steals you at any cost. He seeks you out, wherever you are. <br /> <br /> Janmashtami is the day when you enliven the virat swaroop – the cosmic vision – of Krishna in your own consciousness, once again. Letting your true nature manifest in your day-to-day life is the real secret of Krishna’s birth.<br /><br />JaigurudevDEEPAN MUKHERJEEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05184808026650539498noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8966428829075867887.post-90245970517055849272010-04-30T02:03:00.000-07:002010-04-30T11:16:20.631-07:004 stages of consiousness<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7fHxlDAbsOA-lfigDMFdkQ3MtCXfWUPG4vZRwVR7nEOYCOGmzdgqIKb9KbWr9bsbUg_Z1jJZOOnZDem-zAY5EOO0ktSJ8vSsHO83k8sKiHkupZTJ03t6s0W_cI9CYgdBJGyjf8vNu3Qzs/s1600/guruji.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 286px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7fHxlDAbsOA-lfigDMFdkQ3MtCXfWUPG4vZRwVR7nEOYCOGmzdgqIKb9KbWr9bsbUg_Z1jJZOOnZDem-zAY5EOO0ktSJ8vSsHO83k8sKiHkupZTJ03t6s0W_cI9CYgdBJGyjf8vNu3Qzs/s400/guruji.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465996009675892914" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Guruji once said established a very profound knowledge so easily, here is what i could recall...<br /><br />whenever you start something you are Incompetent to do it & even unaware that you can do it. But as and when you start practicing it you become aware that yes you can do it .Its not impossible even though you are still in competent in it.<br /><br />For example:- When you didn't knew how to drive at that time it used to amaze you so much ,that how these people can drive in this traffic so comfortably. But as & when you start driving you get to know that someday you can drive well even though you are not doing so now.<br /><br />And when you further practice it, you become competent & aware. For example:- You start listening to music simultaneously when you drive.<br /><br />And after more diligently practicing then comes the stage when you become alert and you can afford to be unaware.Like you can leave the steering, listen to music & talk to co passengers etc at the same time.<br /><br />This is what Sadhana do to you. Before experiencing it your not aware how it can transform your life, how it can broaden your capabilities.<br /><br />Students experience higher concentration, better relations with peers and parents.<br />Adults performs well in their workplace. So don't miss any opportunity to bring people to this amazing knowledge & experience.<br /><br />jaigurudev !!!DEEPAN MUKHERJEEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05184808026650539498noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8966428829075867887.post-48631160175854493672010-04-11T00:07:00.000-07:002010-04-11T00:08:31.748-07:00My last few days in Mumbai !Few days back I completed "The Guru of Joy" which I was looking forward for so many years.Beautiful compilation of Guruji's biography, healing experience, experiences of senior AOL teachers & knowledge sheets.<br /><br />Then I even composed a Heavy Metal based Qawalli."Tere aane ki mujhko khabar jo mili".Be there in my next satsang to gets its first look.<br /><br />And yes ,If you are visiting Mumbai anytime in near future, then do check out Band stand . <br /></p><p class="MsoNormal">The YES+ in kolkata was a blast and the biggest YES+ in the world. From there I landed in Mumbai on 16th Feb. to create another bigger event. And we certainly did!!! 1026 youths went through the transformation with 2 sweethearts BAWA N DINESH dada, in a beautiful hall in Dadar, Yogi Sabha Griha.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">
<br /></p><p class="MsoNormal">This whole tour has been an amazing learning & polishing experience for me. Just a few days back Bau met the participants in an orientation session before the course and said a superb knowledge point. He asked,’ how many of you have watched Spiderman?” In the movie a line has been mentioned in a subtle way many times and the answer came,”With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility”. So, does it really happens to people that when they wake up from their sleep they have bulging body and web support to move from building to building? NO. There is a huge gap between reel life and real life.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">
<br /></p><p class="MsoNormal">It’s rather the other way as Guruji says,” With Great Responsibility come Great power”.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Responsibility is something which is not given rather taken, because it makes you move out of your comfort zone and break off all your inhibitions .And you will see people always to look up to them who come forward and take the initiative & responsibility. Just see in your life their must be someone in your class /work area that you always look for when in any crisis. Isn’t it? </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">
<br /></p><p class="MsoNormal">And one more thing is that you would never be asked about to do anything that is out of your capabilities. Like if you are a lawyer then would never be asked to build an aquarium. Are you getting it? </p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">As today is Ram navami this example would be apt. Ram took the responsibility to give Sugrivh his rights and his wife from <st1:place st="on">Bali</st1:place>. And having done that he was helped with Sugrivh’s vanar sena, signifying that Ram was equipped with power then.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal">

What really is the sign of prosperity? There are several – a smile, contentment, freedom, the willingness to share, fearlessness and the trust and confidence that you will get what you need in life. Welcome the New Year with a genuine smile. As you flip the calendar, keep flipping your mind as well. Don’t fill your future dates with past events. Learn and unlearn from the past, and move on. Do selfless service. Live your life well. Realise that your priority is to check violence in the world, free of domestic and societal violence. Make a resolution to do more good, help people in need and bring solace to those suffering. Whenever you are useful to people, merit will never be lost. Any good gesture or action of yours will always come back to you. Today you have the whole world for a family. That’s what you need to feel, that everybody is part of your own family. Take responsibility. Then there is no suffering. The spiritual dimension of life brings a great sense of belongingness, responsibility, compassion and caring for the whole world, for all life. In its truest form spirituality helps us overcome narrow boundaries of caste, creed, religion and nationality and gives you a broader awareness of life everywhere. </span><span style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; text-align: justify; "> Open your eyes and see how much you have been given. Focus on what you have rather than what you don’t have. The more grateful you are, the more will be given to you. Conversely, the more you complain, the more will be taken away from you. This is what Jesus Christ meant when he said, “Those who have will be given more; those who don’t give, and even what they have will be taken away from them.” With gratitude, reach out and help those who are less endowed. You will get much contentment when you serve selflessly. Then you realise that your problems </span><span style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; text-align: justify; ">aren’t so big after all. The biggest reason for mental depression is the constant refrain of the mind that says, “What about me?” This is a sign of lack of prosperity. Become free like a bird. Open your wings and learn to fly. This is something you have to experience within yourself. If </span><span style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; text-align: justify; ">you think you are in bondage, you will remain bound here. Be free. When will you experience freedom? After you die? Become free right now. Sit down and become contented. Spend some time in meditation and satsang. This not only calms your mind, your inner self becomes strong enough to deal with challenges. When the mind relaxes, the intellect becomes sharp. When the mind is loaded with ambitions and feverish desires, then the intellect loses its keenness. When intellect and observation are not sharp, life does not express itself fully. Ideas don’t flow properly and abilities diminish day by day. With this understanding, you step out of your narrow confines and that will solve many of the problems in your life. When you are centred, there is happiness always. With this calmness, talents arise naturally. Intuition comes, beauty comes, peace comes; Love springs up. Prosperity comes.</span></span></div><div style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "></div><div style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "></div><div style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "><br /></div><div style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; ">Note:- You can see the video in - <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10px; white-space: pre; ">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cP25u1nuMyQ</span></div></td></tr></tbody></table></span>DEEPAN MUKHERJEEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05184808026650539498noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8966428829075867887.post-20364907785926013122009-12-15T22:21:00.000-08:002009-12-15T22:26:00.608-08:00New Shayari by Guruji<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ijW10hY5UL7TQTxUAahi2tqM96P1noahJhiLZ6x_zAvFlINpAlFf_VR5yIXXyRCG1WMn4Ke82RiqCP5nh-hlgF_eo4pESqxTxCyh7sy3Wxm_QclLbTeel7CV0LwtH57BIMrU2TeBlt2N/s1600-h/sri+sri.jpeg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 128px; height: 128px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5ijW10hY5UL7TQTxUAahi2tqM96P1noahJhiLZ6x_zAvFlINpAlFf_VR5yIXXyRCG1WMn4Ke82RiqCP5nh-hlgF_eo4pESqxTxCyh7sy3Wxm_QclLbTeel7CV0LwtH57BIMrU2TeBlt2N/s320/sri+sri.jpeg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5415716311752137714" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><i>Inn ankhon mein ankh mila ke dekho to sahi, pyar dikhta hai ki nahi,<br />Ek kadam bada ke dekho to sahi, rasta milta hai ki nahi,<br />Hath batake dekho to sahi, kaam hota hai ki nahi,<br />Ek baar muskarake dekho to sahi, duniya apnati hai ke nahin,<br />Ek baar naam le ke dekho to sahi, jeevan safal hota hai ke nahi.<br /><br />-SRI SRI<br /><br />Jaigurudev!!!<br /><br /></i>DEEPAN MUKHERJEEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05184808026650539498noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8966428829075867887.post-59597936739622584052009-12-06T00:17:00.000-08:002009-12-06T00:17:00.359-08:00Try Again - Joke adapted from Bawa's blog<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(80, 93, 7); line-height: 28px; "><p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial; text-align: justify; font-family: Georgia; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: small;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#000000;">A twenty-one-year-old girl tells her Mom that she has missed her period for two months. He is credited with popularising the slogan "Satymeva Jayate". He was the first one to establish a private university in India which is based on the model of historical Nalanda, Takasheela Vidya Peethams.<br /><br />When Malaviya was trying to build a good university, he had to overcome many difficulties and barriers. He worked with determination to start the university. There was a funds crisis; but he did not get disheartened. He went from town to town, met many rich people and traders to collect donations.<br /><br />He went to the Nizam of Hyderabad(then reputedly the richest man in the world) to request him for funds. The Nizam was furious, " How dare you come to me for funds and that too for a Hindu University? " He roared with anger, took off his footwear and flung it at Malaviya.<br /><br />Malaviya picked up the footwear and left silently. He went directly to the market place and began to auction the footwear. As it was Nizam's footwear, many came forward to buy it. The bids kept going up.<br /><br />When Nizam heard of this, he became uneasy. He thought it would be an insult if his footwear were to be bought by someone for a pittance. So he sent one of his attendants with the instruction, 'Buy that footwear no matter whatever the price be!'<br /><br />Thus, Malaviya managed to sell the Nizam's own footwear back to him, for a huge amount. One fine day it came to know that The God is distributing apples to humans in his place, at heaven. One small kid was so happy to receive that news and it went with lot of enjoyment to heaven to get the apple from The God. There was a big queue standing to get apple from The God and the kid also joined in that queue. While standing, the kid was fully excited and thrilled for the fact that he is going to receive the apple, in person from The God's hands. the kid's turn too came and the kid showed its both the hands to receive apple. The God gave the apple but unfortunately the tiny hands couldn't hold that big apple. <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1258520867_6" style="line-height: 1.22em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial; border-bottom-style: dashed; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-bottom-color: rgb(0, 102, 204); cursor: pointer; ">Apple</span> fell down and got wasted in mud. The kid got so disappointed & starts crying. The ministers near The God informed that if the kid likes to have another apple from The God again, then the kid has to again follow the queue. Having waited for so long the kid didn't want to return earth with <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1258520867_7" style="line-height: 1.22em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial; cursor: pointer; background-image: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; -webkit-background-clip: initial; -webkit-background-origin: initial; background-color: transparent; border-bottom-style: none; border-bottom-width: initial; border-bottom- background-position: initial initial; color:initial;">empty hands</span>. So the kid decided to wait again in the queue. This time the queue has become even longer than the previous one. While waiting in queue, the kid could see lot of people who returns back with apple in hands and utmost satisfaction on their faces. The kid was so much disappointed and thought why me alone didn't get the apple in hand when all others were easily able to get it. What is the sin I did that I alone should suffer like this. Now the kid was so scared that it should not miss the apple again. Again its turn came and The God gave the apple to the kid's hands and after giving the apple The God spoke to the kid. So he proposed a bargain. He said he would forgo the farmer's debt </div><div>if he could marry his daughter. </div><div><br /></div><div>Both the farmer and his daughter were horrified by the proposal. So the </div><div>cunning money-lender suggested that they let providence decide the matter. </div><div>He told them that he would put a black pebble and a white pebble into an </div><div>empty money bag. Then the girl would have to pick one pebble from the bag. </div><div>If she picked the black pebble, she would become his wife and her father's </div><div>debt would be forgiven. </div><div>If she picked the white pebble she need not marry him and her father's debt </div><div>would still be forgiven. </div><div><br /></div><div>But if she refused to pick a pebble, her father would be thrown into Jail. </div><div>They were standing on a pebble strewn path in the farmer's field. As they </div><div>talked, the moneylender bent over to pick up two pebbles. As he picked them </div><div>up, the sharp-eyed girl noticed that he had picked up two black pebbles and </div><div>put them into the bag. He then asked the girl to pick a pebble from the </div><div>bag. </div><div>Now, imagine that you were standing in the field. What would you have done </div><div>if you were the girl? If you had to advise her, what would you have told </div><div>her? Careful analysis would produce three possibilities: </div><div>The girl should refuse to take a pebble. </div><div>The girl should show that there were two black pebbles in the bag and expose </div><div>the money-lender as a cheat. </div><div>The girl should pick a black pebble and sacrifice herself in order to save </div><div>her father from his debt and imprisonment. </div><div><br /></div><div>Take a moment to ponder over the story. The above story is used with the </div><div>hope that it will make us appreciate the difference between lateral and </div><div>logical thinking. The girl's dilemma cannot be solved with traditional </div><div>logical thinking. Think of the consequences if she chooses the above logical </div><div>answers. What would you recommend to the girl to do? </div><div>Well, here is what she did .... </div><div>The girl put her hand into the moneybag and drew out a pebble. Without </div><div>Looking at it, she fumbled and let it fall onto the pebble-strewn path where </div><div>it immediately became lost among all the other pebbles. "Oh, how clumsy of </div><div>me," she said. "But never mind, if you look into the bag for the one that is </div><div>left, you will be able to tell which pebble I picked." </div><div>Since the remaining pebble is black, it must be assumed that she had picked </div><div>the white one. And since the money-lender dared not admit his dishonesty, </div><div>the girl changed what seemed an impossible situation into an extremely </div><div>advantageous one. </div><div><br /></div><div>MORAL OF THE STORY: Most complex problems do have a solution, if only we </div><div>attempt to think! </div><div><br /></div><div>Jaigurudev !!!</div>DEEPAN MUKHERJEEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05184808026650539498noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8966428829075867887.post-7410329091060052972009-11-16T10:31:00.000-08:002009-11-16T10:35:18.528-08:00The 5 Secrets- His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankar<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0FkD1M2AmBrq0ESgvT2MHMiEmUgxKaGNrJtj5ILWKrRts2TLfDejAz4jeIQrbKYw3AfGJ_Oz4BDFEEOhzacHjtu8maWmuqb7pDtpG0lI4__iNF5p5uk6miyskKq_IEWLaaiuofJiYiKtg/s1600/top-secret-1.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0FkD1M2AmBrq0ESgvT2MHMiEmUgxKaGNrJtj5ILWKrRts2TLfDejAz4jeIQrbKYw3AfGJ_Oz4BDFEEOhzacHjtu8maWmuqb7pDtpG0lI4__iNF5p5uk6miyskKq_IEWLaaiuofJiYiKtg/s320/top-secret-1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5404771844717971554" /></a><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family:'lucida grande', tahoma, verdana, arial, sans-serif;font-size:13px;"><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>There are five secrets which are sacred and are guarded by the subtle beings and angels in this creation. They are:<br /><br />1. Jananarahasya (the secret of birth)<br />Birth is a secret. How a soul takes a body, the criteria for selecting the place of birth, time of birth, type of body, parents, etc are all a secret.<br /><br />2. Maranarahasya (the secret of death)<br />Death is a highly guarded secret. Death remains a mystery. The process of separation of spirit from matter and its journey from then on is a secret.<br /><br />3. Rajarahasya (the royal secret, the secret of ruling)<br />The principles of governing; the principles of maintaining the orderliness in creation are a secret.<br /><br />4. Prakritirahasya (the secret of nature)<br />Nature is a mystery. The more you know about nature, the mystery deepens. The more a scientist knows, the more he feels there is much more to know. Science, though appearing to resolve the mystery in creation, has deepened it. The knowledge of particles, wave functions, black holes, the vacuum state, etc have only deepened the mystery.<br /><br />5. Mantrarahasya (secret of mantras)<br />The mantras and their effect, influence, method and mode of working are all a mystery. Mantras are the impulses or rhythms of consciousness, which itself is a mystery.<br /><br />Usually in the West, a secret is shameful and dishonest. But in the East, it is honored and regarded as sacred.<br /><br />- Sri Sri<br /><br />|| Jai Guru Dev ||<br /><br />=========================</span>DEEPAN MUKHERJEEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05184808026650539498noreply@blogger.com0
